Villa Koritsaki, Magazia, Paxos

Richard and I have been going to Paxos for 20 years and have stayed in many of the Greek Islands Club villas both in Loggos itself and further afield but this year we found a villa, which for us surpassed all others - Villa Koritsaki near Magazia – it’s so peaceful and in such a wonderful position.

The owners have put a great deal of thought and care into this villa. Being the housewife I found the kitchen to be very well equipped and the best I have cooked in as far as holiday villas in Greece go.

The garden, landscaped on different levels of olive groves (ideal to get away from your other half and read in peace!) is a delight with all the many colourful plants and which includes a wonderful herb garden and barbecue station.

Koritsaki has superb views from the property’s many sitting out areas. You can also see the sea and mainland through the olive trees as you swim in the beautiful pool, which has been designed to appear like a beach.The Greek Islands Club Staff on Paxos, who are, by now our good friends, are extremely helpful and courteous.

I always say holidays are ‘personal’ and for many years we kept quiet about Paxos as it’s such a special island, but it continues to beckon us back for wonderful relaxing holidays, especially to villa’s such as Koritsaki.
